Travel Journal - Summer 2018

Some images from my travel sketchbook from travelling around Europe and North Africa. All the places i went to where, Ireland, Amsterdam, Paris, Morocco, Spain, England. I didn't sketch as much as I would have liked to but I think I'm happy with the things I did get to sketch. And I got to draw my muse, Ava, plenty of times. I can't wait to travel again and fill another sketchbook.

Double self portrait

double self portrait in oils. Doing my best to turn the form and to try and pick up on subtle color variations between warm and cool. Done as part of Yu Ji's advance life painting class at CSULB. This is the 13th week in. One more self portrait and then the Final painting.
